This CD was released in 1994, and there are no explanations other than the lyrics card in the center of both discs, but it is a series that was in a sense ahead of its time, with rare recordings of GS and love sounds that were considered to be "not pop songs but not rock either" released prior to the later "Soft Rock Driving" and 2000s "Showa Dyna Groove" series. The long-established GS group Jackie Yoshikawa and the Blue Comets disbanded in 1972, but they added two female vocalists to give it a further lease of life, and Shima Yuki, the phantom sixth dancer of the Nishino Ballet Company, was Yoshiko Shikaku, who later became Rokumonsen, and Sato Noto's docking dance is the Japanese version of "Dance Heaven" with Eto Isao's bass roaring. Personally, I was happy to be reunited with Nakayama Chinatsu's TV theme song "Jump into Space."
I am listing these to clear out my inventory, but unfortunately I will not be selling them separately. Please purchase as a set of two. They have been carefully stored away, and although the records are clean, they have been in storage for a long time, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about such things. No claims or returns will be accepted. I will do my best to ship as quickly as possible.
